Choosing the right storage solution:
There are a few important considerations when planning the moving of your residential household items, office furniture or other business goods or equipment into a storage facility.
A few things to consider when moving items into storage:
Is the provider known to provide watertight clean and dry lockers ? This may not always be the case — so you need to work with a reputable company with a good reputation or check out the lockers yourself to make sure they are fit for purpose.
You also need to consider how you’re going to have your items packed into the storage lockers:
- Do you have some clean cardboard or spare sheets etc you could bring along to lay down on the floor if you have items such as beds to store ?
- If you’re looking to get plastic covers for your beds, and have them in plastic already to go for when the moving team arrives – or arrange to have the team slide your mattresses into bags that you have ready to go there – we can recommend the best place to source those mattress bags.
We can go over the suggested procedures to help keep your items clean dry and safe while in storage.
